PayMe Spin and Win GameTerms and Conditions

1. The promotional period for PayMe Spin and Win Game offer is from 2 August 2021 to 30 September 2021 (both dates inclusive).

2. Each PayMe customer will get one chance to play the PayMe Spin and Win game for each Eligible Transaction made during the Promotional Period, subject to a cap of five chances per day (from 16 Aug 16:00) and five chances during the Promotional Period.

3. Each PayMe customer can use the chances to play the PayMe Spin and Win game at any time during the Promotional Period. The chances will expire 7 days after the end of the Promotional Period.

4. The prizes of the PayMe Spin and Win game include amount categories of HK$1, $5, $10, $50, $100, $500. The amount of the reward that each customer gets is allocated by a pre-determined sequence based on a fixed number of rewards for each amount category. Therefore, the amount each customer gets depends on the position of the customer in that sequence.

5. The corresponding cash prize will be automatically credited to the PayMe customer’s PayMe wallet at the time of allocation.

6. The total amount of cash prizes for the PayMe Spin and Win Game is HK$4 million.

7. Each PayMe customer who plays the PayMe Spin and Win game but does not win any cash prize will be automatically entered into the Limited Edition PayMe Merchandise prize draw, subject to a cap of three entries during the Promotional Period.

8. The winners of the Limited Edition PayMe Merchandise prize draw will be announced on or before 29 October 2021.

10. Any PayMe customer who:

(a) is a Hong Kong resident having a valid Hong Kong Identity Card;

(b) is a natural person (e.g. companies are not eligible to enter); and

(c) is aged 18 or above,

11. The Bank will contact each winner of the Limited Edition PayMe Merchandise lucky draw by the email address that they registered with their PayMe account. The Bank will contact winners from no-reply@mail.payme.hsbc.com.hk to provide redemption instructions.

12. The winners will be personally responsible for any and all additional costs incurred as a result of the acceptance and use of the Prize.

13. Customers must have available wallet space in their PayMe account during the promotional period to receive the cashback.

14. PayMe customers whose PayMe account wallet balance, terminated or suspended before or at the time that the Prize is to be paid will be disqualified. If any winner fails to comply with these terms and conditions, this will result in forfeiture of the Prize.

15. A PayMe customer’s personal information under the Bank’s record must be up-to-date and valid during the whole or the relevant part (as the case may be) of the Promotional Period and at the time of payment of the Prize to receive it.

16. In the event of any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions, the decision of the Bank shall be final and conclusive.

17. The Bank reserves the right to change these terms and conditions and terminate the PayMe Spin and Win Game at any time without prior notice, please visit the website to review changes. The Bank accepts no liability for any such change or termination.

18. The Limited Edition PayMe Merchandise is subject to availability. The Bank reserves the right to offer any alternative prize without prior notice if it is not available or out of stock.

19. All remarks and footnotes in the relevant promotional materials are intended to serve, and do serve, as part of the terms and conditions of the PayMe Spin and Win Game. For the avoidance of doubt, if there is any conflict between that information and these terms and conditions, these terms and conditions shall apply and prevail.

20. The Bank reserves the right to exclude a PayMe customer who violates these terms and conditions, tampers with the PayMe Spin and Win Game, engages in abusive, deceit or fraudulent behavior in relation to the PayMe Spin and Win Game or makes false representations or statements or violates applicable law or regulations. If a PayMe customer is excluded, any offer may be subsequently revoked and reclaimed.

21. It is the PayMe customer’s responsibility to comply (at their own expense) with any laws requiring payment of any tax, duty, levy or similar impost in relation to the receiving of the Prize, and the Bank shall have no responsibility in respect thereof.

22. The PayMe Spin and Win Game is held within Hong Kong. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong and each Eligible User submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.

23. In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the Chinese and English versions of these terms and conditions, the English version shall apply and prevail.

• ‘Eligible Transaction’ means a payment of HK$100 or more paid to a verified PayMe merchant using PayMe app.
• “HSBC” or the “Bank” refers to The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited
• “Hong Kong” means the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region
• “Promotional Period” refers to 2 August 2021 to 30 September 2021 (both dates inclusive)
• “Prize” means a cash prize or Limited Edition PayMe Merchandise
